The Little Dragonette In Michigan

At first I was a little frightened about a dragon coming to my home....even a baby dragonette was a little scary.  But when Little Baby Maraneth arrived, I was no longer afraid.  She was such a sweet, kind, cute little thing; we became fast friends.  She was a little upset because she couldn't find her hatching egg, so I told her I would make her one.  I got out the balloons and glue and paper....paper towels and pretty tissue paper.

After I got it altogether it didn't want to dry quickly...sooooo...I had to make a baking oven with a heating vent and a cardboard box....it worked great!

While the egg was drying I made her a cute little flannel and lace hatching jacket, diaper, and matching blanket. I also gave her tiny white socks with pink ribbons and a tiny pearl to keep her little tootsies warm.   She loved to cuddle up in her new clothes.  Then we found out that her tiny wings were drying and growing......look at them now.

Oh, she said she wanted to be a blue eyed baby so I gave her some pretty little blue eyes....look at her blue eyes and sweet smile...such a happy baby dragonette!

By this time her lovely egg was all dry and when it cracked and broke open, I added a large pink organiza ribbon and turned it into a Egg Cradle.

It has four parts: the top of the egg with the pink bow, the bottom of the egg, the gold platform inside the egg that holds the baby dragon and the red stand that keeps the egg steady.

She loved it and hopped right into it.

If I can get this little sweetheart out of her egg and back into the box; I will give her a hug and a kiss and send her to her Auntie Cynthia today.  Safe trip little one!

Be watching for her Auntie Cynthia :)

Cynthia's Little Pixie Loves Her Auntie Diane

Cynthia's little pixie arrived at her Auntie Diane's home and needed to put together.  Diane quickly did put her together with a cute little soft body and jointed limbs.  Look how cute she is!!

She colored the pixie and did her fingers and toe nails so sweetly.

She hand applied her lovely red curls out of red mohair.  She hand sewed her fancy purple dress trimmed with butterflies.  This darling dress is removable so; if anyone wants to make another outfit for her this one can be removed.   Just untie the bows at her shoulders and slip off.   Diane made the little pixie a glass bead neckless with a matching pendant butterfly .

Wow, isn't she precious!

Diane made Cynthia's pixie a new little elf friend, Violet, to travel along with her and keep her company. Violet has a pretty butterfly on her flower covered tummy.

This darling "Little One" is on her way with a hug and a kiss from Auntie Diane to Auntie Sandra.

Baby Dragon Maraneth~On her way to Michigan!

Baby Maraneth is on her way to Michigan to see her Auntie Carolyn!
We had a great time here in Vancouver, Washington!

We read stories of mystical unicorns, treasures, and dragons! She loves unicorns...and I do too!...so I made sure to make her a doll to take home with her. I also made her a "treasure" box to put her special things in.

She can read her own dragon story!

She was also concerned about starting little fires as she traveled, because sometimes she sneezes. Since she was so concerned, I made her a little fire extinguisher in the form of a bottle so she could take a little drink any time she felt a sneeze coming on. Instead of the usual powder found in fire extinguishers, I was able to get a hold of some magic sneeze powder to put in her bottle. It helps her control her ability to breath fire so she will use her fire only when she needs it.

We read a story of a little dragon that just wanted to be noticed. If you would like to listen to the story... click here: There's no such Thing as a Dragon" and click the play button on the picture book. You can even turn the page as you read the story! Just click on the bottom right corner of the book! This is a story my brothers and I actually listed to on a record over and over when we were little. I couldn't believe I was able to find it! I tried to burn it on a CD for Sandra, but it just wouldn't let me....so I guess she'll just have to visit the link. ;)

Maraneth told me that every dragon dreams of a castle to protect, so I put one on her baby book.

We had a great time, and I wish her wonderful adventures with hugs from her Auntie Audrey!
Travel safely little one!

Joanie's Little Baby Arrived In Michigan

Yes, it was a happy day when little Lacie Marie arrived in Michigan.

The bears and I were getting ready for a Halloween Party and guess who wanted to go to it?  You're right, Baby Lacie Marie!  So I got busy and made her a pumpkin costume.

She looks so cute in it and she says it is comfy too.

The sweet Little Pumpkin had a great time and got to know lots of my bears at the party.  Everyone of them loved Lacie Marie and was so happy that she was there!  Little Lacie Marie really fell in love with Witchy Bear.....they quickly became best friends.  Pretty soon I looked over and guess who was asleep in Witchy Bear's lap.....you guessed it.....Little Pumpkin Lacie Marie!

There was a costume contest and while our little sweetie was asleep, everyone picked Lacie Marie as the winner because she looked so sweet at her first Halloween Party....Congratulations "Little One"!  She won a tiny Crystal Pumpkin as her prize......someone says it could be magic as well as beautiful.

After the party was almost over, I picked her up and took her to bed. She looked up at me with those little sleepy eyes and said, "Thank you Auntie Carolyn, I had so much fun at my first party"!
Such a darling baby!

Very soon I will be packing this Lil Pumpkin safely up and sending her on her long journey to Auntie Cynthia, in Canada.  Who knows, maybe she will get a Thanksgiving or Christmas party along the way to all the Aunties.  She does love parties...she must be a Party Girl...hehehehehe
I will give her a hug and kiss and tell her I love her before she starts her journey to Canada!
Start Looking for her Auntie Cynthia!

Joan's "Little One" ~Lacie Marie

Here is Joan's darling little Lacie Marie! Don't you just want to pinch those cheeks!

She is all snuggled in for her nap, and sleeping soundly for her trip to Auntie Carolyn in Michigan. She is dreaming of all the treats she will get to put in her little pumpkin!

I had so much fun with her here in Washington! I made her a little sock body. I couldn't send her to her next Auntie in the buff so I made her a diaper. Then decided that since the weather had turned cold and rainy to make her a jammie top, and a matching crocheted headband.
I made her a few little things to keep her busy on her travels to her Aunties...a wool felted and clay dolly with a crocheted dress, an I Spy bag, a baby book, and a trick or treat pumpkin.
She's still sleeping...even after all of the fuss! What a good baby!

I will miss you sweet little girl! I wish you lot's of Kicks 'n' Giggles on your journey!
Travel safely little one!

I found her a lil pony to be her friend on the rest of her trip & some items to decorate her bed with. I hope she has a safe uneventful trip.
