Cynthia's Little Elf visited Washington

Cynthia's darling little elf came to visit me in Washington! What a sweetie she is! She had been having so much fun with all of her Aunties, and had so many stories to tell!
We usually put up our Christmas tree right after Thanksgiving, and Little Elf thought that was so much fun! She loved the smell of the fresh trees that are grown here and shipped all over the world! Since she is in the Evergreen state...I thought it would be fun to send her home with her own little "Evergreen".
Then we hung up our stockings for Santa, and I wanted to make sure that she had a matching stocking. Before she left I had to fill her stocking with a candy cane, and a teddy bear. That way she had something to snack on and snuggle with on her way home. She said she was going to sleep in her sleigh on Christmas Eve and wait for Santa!
We had so much fun, and I will miss her! She is out visiting her Auntie Carolyn in Michigan, and I know she will have a great time!
Travel safely "Little One"! I wish you safe travels home with hugs from your Auntie Audrey!

Reesemae visited Washington!

Reesemae arrived here in Washington to see me! It was so nice to have her visit! She is such a happy baby, and is always so cheerful. We had a lot of fun together. We went to a pumpkin patch, because she wanted to make her own pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving from scratch! She picked out the prettiest one she could find. We brought it home.
We went to a doll show while she was here. She saw this little doll, and batted those big beautiful eyes. I couldn't resist so the little "Holly Hobby" dolly is going home with her. :)
She is approx 3 inches or a little under.
She has her little pantaloons...
and a bow in the back!
She smiled so big when she saw Reesemae!
Reesemae wrapped her in her new favorite little dolly blanket, and made her all snuggly warm.

Reesemae wanted to keep all of the treasures she's gathered on her travels from her Aunties in a safe place, so I made her a diaper bag.
She started putting all of her special treasures in her bag right away! I also made her a baby book to put her special memories in.

Then she put the goodies from her Auntie Sandra in the bag.
She is such a sweet little girl! I will miss her! I hope that she has a wonderful trip, and enjoys all of her adventures around the country and into Canada.
Travel safely Little One! Hugs from your Auntie Audrey!

Baby Dragon Maraneth~On her way to Michigan!

Baby Maraneth is on her way to Michigan to see her Auntie Carolyn!
We had a great time here in Vancouver, Washington!

We read stories of mystical unicorns, treasures, and dragons! She loves unicorns...and I do too!...so I made sure to make her a doll to take home with her. I also made her a "treasure" box to put her special things in.

She can read her own dragon story!

She was also concerned about starting little fires as she traveled, because sometimes she sneezes. Since she was so concerned, I made her a little fire extinguisher in the form of a bottle so she could take a little drink any time she felt a sneeze coming on. Instead of the usual powder found in fire extinguishers, I was able to get a hold of some magic sneeze powder to put in her bottle. It helps her control her ability to breath fire so she will use her fire only when she needs it.

We read a story of a little dragon that just wanted to be noticed. If you would like to listen to the story... click here: There's no such Thing as a Dragon" and click the play button on the picture book. You can even turn the page as you read the story! Just click on the bottom right corner of the book! This is a story my brothers and I actually listed to on a record over and over when we were little. I couldn't believe I was able to find it! I tried to burn it on a CD for Sandra, but it just wouldn't let me....so I guess she'll just have to visit the link. ;)

Maraneth told me that every dragon dreams of a castle to protect, so I put one on her baby book.

We had a great time, and I wish her wonderful adventures with hugs from her Auntie Audrey!

Joan's "Little One" ~Lacie Marie

Here is Joan's darling little Lacie Marie! Don't you just want to pinch those cheeks!

She is all snuggled in for her nap, and sleeping soundly for her trip to Auntie Carolyn in Michigan. She is dreaming of all the treats she will get to put in her little pumpkin!

I had so much fun with her here in Washington! I made her a little sock body. I couldn't send her to her next Auntie in the buff so I made her a diaper. Then decided that since the weather had turned cold and rainy to make her a jammie top, and a matching crocheted headband.
I made her a few little things to keep her busy on her travels to her Aunties...a wool felted and clay dolly with a crocheted dress, an I Spy bag, a baby book, and a trick or treat pumpkin.
She's still sleeping...even after all of the fuss! What a good baby!

I will miss you sweet little girl! I wish you lot's of Kicks 'n' Giggles on your journey!
Travel safely little one!
